Oracle PL/SQL Database Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database design concepts, data modelling, and normalization.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle databases, including tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.

Responsibilities include writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Design and develop efficient database solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of database applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust database constraints and security measures.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
  • Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Solid understanding of database design concepts, data modelling, and normalization.
  • Experience with performance tuning techniques.
  • Proficiency in working with Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate).
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
