Internship Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst Intern to support our team in Hyderabad. This internship provides hands-on experience in equity research and financial analysis, enabling the candidate to develop essential skills in stock analysis, market trends, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fundamental analysis of companies to evaluate investment potential by analyzing stocks, monitoring market trends, and providing insights for investment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to project company performance and valuations using advanced Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Create clear and concise presentations summarizing findings for internal use, focusing on key takeaways and recommendations.
  • Prepare accurate and well-structured documentation to support research and investment processes.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc research tasks and projects, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Pursuing CFA Level I/II/III or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, comparables).
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and analyze stocks, draft research reports, and prepare professional presentations.
  • Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with MS PowerPoint and Word.
  • Understanding of capital markets and investment concepts, with a strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn about equity research.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
