Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage production operations in a wire rod mill. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing production activities to meet business targets while ensuring quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Plan and coordinate production activities with the Head of Section to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards by implementing corrective actions and collaborating with maintenance teams.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production shift personnel, including manpower management and training.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to ensure smooth operation of equipment and minimize downtime.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in a wire rod mill.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in MS Office.
