Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our compliance function. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Company Secretary (CS) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance and corporate governance, adheres to all statutory, regulatory, and internal governance standards.

This role requires exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills to effectively advise the board and management on matters of corporate governance, risk management, and statutory filings.

The incumbent will oversee all compliance functions, ensuring strict adherence to all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other financial laws applicable to a listed company.

  • Corporate Governance & Board Support: Advise the board of directors on all matters of corporate governance, ensuring efficient and ethical operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential compliance risks across the organization.
  • Statutory Filings: Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all regulatory documents and returns with authorities such as the Registrar of Companies (ROC), Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), and SEBI for the listed entities and all subsidiary entities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Professional Qualifications: A mandatory qualified Company Secretary (CS). A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior compliance, corporate secretarial, or governance role. Must have experience working in a listed company and handling M&A compliance.
  • Legal & Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Indian corporate laws, financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation.
