Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have hands-on experience in automation testing and want to contribute their expertise to drive product quality.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, and experience with REST API testing, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI, and test design principles.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing, collaborating closely with product managers and developers, building and maintaining automated test scripts, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, analyzing test failures, conducting root cause analysis, evaluating and adopting new testing tools and technologies, and contributing as an individual contributor without team or people management responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing only.
  • Strong experience in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis, and automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for test and defect management.
