Job Description

Ambient Spaces seeks an experienced and skilled Estimation and Tendering Manager to join their team in New Delhi. This on-site role will oversee the entire tendering process, encompassing preparation, review, and submission of tenders, bids, and contracts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for project costing, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation to ensure precise financial planning and budget adherence.

Tendering & Bidding Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tenders, bids, and proposals in accordance with project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with tender documentation and contractual obligations.

Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation

  • Create detailed and accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with precise specifications, quantities, and rates.
  • Conduct thorough cost estimation and rate analysis based on current market prices.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations and ensure timely material procurement.
  • Negotiate rates and terms to achieve cost efficiency.

Financial Reporting & Budgeting

  • Prepare cost reports and assist in project budgeting and financial planning.
  • Monitor and manage project costs to avoid overruns.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all tendering documentation, including technical and commercial proposals, is accurate and complete.
  • Maintain thorough records of tender submissions and related correspondence.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the design, procurement, and project management teams to align tendering processes with project goals.
  • Communicate with clients and consultants regarding tender clarifications and technical queries.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in estimation, tendering, and BOQ preparation for interior fit-out or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, rate analysis, and tendering procedures.
  • Proficiency in preparing and interpreting BOQs, contracts, and tender documents.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Salary Package: ₹3 LPA – ₹7 LPA
