Job Title: Digital Engineering Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled digital engineering expert to drive innovation in product development. As a key team member, you will leverage computer-aided engineering tools to analyze and optimize designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong fundamentals of nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) and optimization techniques for strength and stiffness targets.
  • Estimate fatigue life for parent metal and weld connections using FEA software such as Abaqus and Nastran.
  • Conduct full vehicle level noise vibration harshness (NVH) studies with point mobility and local dynamic stiffness expertise and optimizations for target frequencies and dynamic responses.
  • Analyze structural dynamics, modal analysis, and dynamic responses, including frequency response functions (FRFs) and random excitations.
  • Develop an intuitive understanding of structural mechanics and problem-solving attitude to come up with countermeasures with manufacturing and assembly feasibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement design improvements using CAE tools.

Requirements:

  • 8-13 years of experience in digital engineering with a focus on NVH and durability analysis.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or related field.
  • Proficiency in CAE software such as Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct, Hypermesh, Ansa, Hyperview, and Metapost.
