Financial Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Financial Management Professional to oversee the financial and accounting functions for a real estate company. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, finalizing accounts, and managing all taxation matters.

This role requires a professional with experience in residential villa or high-rise projects, and a focus on accounting rather than business finance.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Finalization: Conduct the finalization of accounts, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with accounting standards.
  • Taxation: Manage all taxation matters, including direct taxes (income tax) and indirect taxes (VAT/Service Tax).
  • Finance & Accounts Oversight: Oversee all finance and accounts functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Compliance: Ensure the timely submission of all returns to relevant authorities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification with 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience (excluding articleship).
  • Proven experience in accounting, with a preference for a non-business finance background.
  • Majority of experience should be from a real estate company, with a focus on residential projects such as villas or high-rises.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and account finalization.
  • Expertise in managing direct and indirect taxation matters.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.
