Operational procurement involves managing the entire transactional process, enhancing reliability and service levels, improving quality, and increasing automation across key areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Perform transactional activities of operational procurement (spot buying/PR to PO/vendor master data/helpdesk services, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the organization, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests from initiation through order fulfillment.
  • Reporting expertise to extract reports from SAP as per business requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Conduct timely communication upon inquiries from internal or external customers/concerned groups.
  • Follow up-to-date operational procedures and adhere to standardized processes.
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders.
  • Identify potential issues promptly and make appropriate escalations.
  • Maintain operational compliance with regulatory, internal, and external guidelines and support audit activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
  • Business experience:
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • SAP module knowledge and experience.
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures.
