Job Role:

  • This role involves creating and revising Service Bulletins (SBs) in line with requirements from the SBO.
  • Analyzing configurations to identify pre- and post-drawings according to Airbus SB standards is a key task.
  • Familiarity with Airbus standards, including S1000D, iSpec 2200, and ASD STE – 100, is essential.
  • Performing technical analysis of criteria and related data sources requires strong skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP PCS and authoring tools in SAMM DACAS, TAKSY, GIDOCA, GYPSY, Airn@V, ZAMIZ, PASS SSCI, and APS is vital.
  • Understanding cold working SBs is necessary for success in this role.
  • Determining aircraft zones and access studies for work location specification is an important part of the job.
  • Following precise sequences of the authoring process described in the Quality Plan is crucial.
  • Estimating timelines and making realistic commitments with project leaders is a critical skill.
  • Participating actively in customer communication for queries is essential.
  • Analyzing, mock-up, and authoring SBs using Arbor text or Epic editor requires strong technical skills.
  • Maintaining quality (RFT) and KPIs for assigned tasks is a key responsibility.
  • Managing workload and maintaining OTD (on-time deliveries) and quality is essential.
  • Familiarity with workflow processes like quality checks, INC & DCR is necessary.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis methods, such as 5 Why and 8D, is essential.

Qualification Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with aeronautical engineering industry exposure is also acceptable.
  • An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with airline experience and SB authoring expertise is preferred.
