Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as a senior consultant or team lead in SAP ABAP. Key Responsibilities:- Align activities with the organization's values and vision.
- Protect intellectual property and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Collect or provide relevant data through collaboration with other line functions.
- Develop and implement development guidelines and methodologies.
- Support onsite consulting teams and coordinate with remote development teams.
- Contribute to practice initiatives by sharing knowledge and enhancing reusability.
- Prepare technical specifications, build code, review code, and prepare unit test cases.
- Modify ABAP code for BDC, interface programs, reports, module pools, and optimize custom-developed programs.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide bug fixes within agreed time frames and quality standards.
- Assist with queries related to reports, interfaces, enhancements, ALE/IDoc, conversions, and Adobe forms.
- Work with functional teams to assess operational and quality-related issues and manage closure of gaps.
- Provide proposals for ABAP redesign and performance improvement/tuning of ABAP objects.
- Ensure assessment of SAP OSS notes regarding relevance for ABAP operations.
