Highly Skilled System Reliability Specialist

About the Role:
Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled System Reliability Specialist to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Infrastructure Design: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for production systems.
- Automation: Automate repetitive operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineering teams to build reliable and efficient services.
- Tool Development: Develop and maintain tools for system monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident response to minimize downtime.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks or failure points.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Best Practices: Advocate for reliability, availability, and performance best practices throughout the engineering teams.
- Documentation: Document processes, architecture, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering with Tools like Grafana, Prometheus.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux/Unix systems, networking fundamentals, scripting, and programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
