Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing new systems from the ground up with minimal support.

You will collaborate with local and partner teams, conform to quality standards, identify performance issues, and optimize solutions. You will also apply knowledge of security coding practices and lead end-to-end engineering for projects and problems of complex scope and impact within practice.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and sustainable technology products and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
  • Apply knowledge of security coding practices to ensure secure system fundamentals
  • Lead end-to-end engineering for projects and problems of complex scope and impact
  • Develop strong software delivery fundamentals including automated testing, source control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development, including expertise in Java/Spring Boot, design patterns, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres SQL, CD/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Kafka, and Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns, synchronous/asynchronous processing and error handling patterns with Spring Boot, building web services and integrations with message-driven architecture
