The successful Network Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all network activities at the data centre and disaster recovery (DR) sites, including installations, upgrades, migrations, incident management, performance tuning, reporting, and patching.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled individual with expertise in switching, routing, and network equipment.
  • A strong understanding of Leaf & Spine Architecture in Data Centre is essential.
  • Experience with monitoring networks using tools such as Cisco IOS, PRTG, NetFlow, etc. is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should have worked on large-scale data centre networks.
  • The role involves managing configuration changes of switches/routers when required and periodic backup of configurations.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 protocols, including VLAN, Private VLANS, VTP, STP, DTP, Trunking, Stacking, Ethernet channel, DOT1Q, ISL, SVI, etc., is required.
  • The ability to configure IPSEC tunnels between locations is essential.
  • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 3 Protocols, such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, Static Routing, High Availability Protocols (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP), Floating Static Routing, Failover, etc., is necessary.
  • The role requires providing support for IPv4, IPv6, NTP, ACLs, Route-map, Prefix-Lists, PBR, AAA, TACAS, RADIUS, CEF, IPv6 CEF, SLA, TRACK, SNMP, EEM, Syslog, Flow-export, RADIO, EVPN-VXLAN.
  • The Network Specialist will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting Network Load Balancers, Datacentre core switching and routing upgrade & maintenance, Router access control management, Fault management of routers and switches, Corrective actions to resolve faults to ensure high network uptime, Troubleshooting and debugging of problems, Deploy monitoring tools for identifying problem areas and early rectifications if require, Periodic fine-tuning to ensure optimal network availability, Regular checking for proper functioning of network and assets deployed.
  • Experience with EMS tools and knowledge of Incident, Change and Configuration Management, IOS Upgradation, change request management are desired.
