About the Role
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications that operate 24x7, making architectural trade-offs and applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns.
  • Develop multi-tiered systems with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design, producing high-quality code that is unit tested and regularly checked in for continuous integration.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or relevant practical experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience in Python and/or Java, with a strong foundation in UNIX systems engineering and/or systems administration.
  • Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in object-oriented design, coding, testing patterns, and programming languages (Java, C++).
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices, with a focus on automation and continuous delivery.
