Job Overview

Tata Technologies is seeking a talented CAE Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and validating NVH CAE system/assembly models for complete powertrain systems, including ICE and electric vehicles. They will also be responsible for debugging and solving CAE calculations of powertrain and full vehicle automotive systems.

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can validate correctness of CAE results and proceed with evaluations. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of NVH concepts and finite element analysis, as well as experience in handling small teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and validate NVH CAE system/assembly models for complete powertrain systems
  • Debug and solve CAE calculations of powertrain and full vehicle automotive systems
  • Validate correctness of CAE results and proceed with evaluations
  • Finding issues, root causes, mechanisms, and propose feasible solutions
  • Deliver analysis results to the reporting project leader/team leader

Requirements:

Essential Skills
  • Good knowledge of automotive modeling
  • Good knowledge of model building using ANSA
  • Knowledge of Nastran/Abaqus solver NVH (Powertrain)
  • Good knowledge of META for post-processing and result interpretation
  • Knowledge about typical finite elements
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge in automotive systems: Powertrain [ICE/Electric]/Vehicle Structure
  • Knowledge in building FE without CAD
  • Knowledge in modifying the FE mesh for alternative designs
  • Knowledge in updating trim body and debugging for NVH
