About the Role:

  • The content specialist will work collaboratively with our team to develop content that will live on the Amazon Autos marketplace.
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies, continuously monitoring and optimizing assets, and providing expert guidance to both leadership and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
  1. Create and edit high-quality and engaging copy for a US-based audience interested in purchasing a car through Amazon Autos.
  2. Understand how people use language to convey meaning.
  3. Update website content as needed.
  4. Cross-functional collaboration to create engaging stories.
  5. Curiosity/interest around the auto buying experience.
  6. Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
  7. Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
  8. Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
  9. Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
  10. Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
  11. Adapts quickly to keep up with changing project conventions and new projects.
  12. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  13. Edit and proofread copy as needed.
  14. Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
  15. Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
  16. Keep up and incorporate all the latest AI-centric tactics to keep Amazon Autos relevant in a zero-click search world.
