Job Title: Data Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to join an emerging team as a Data Engineer in the Data Warehouse division. You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality features, working independently with minimal supervision.

  • You will work closely with the development team to architect and implement workflow management systems, focusing on backend and data engineering.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend and data engineering. They must have hands-on experience with Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting, as well as cloud native data intensive applications, Amazon Web Service experience is a must and good to have experience in GCP.

In addition to technical skills, you must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), Spark applications, Parquet, Delta Lake, OTFs file formats, IaC tool such as Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation, observability systems (such as Datadog or Prometheus/Grafana) and CI/CD processes are required.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, and proactive, with a strong focus on business value vs engineering interest. You will work collaboratively with internal customers to provide excellent service-oriented support, while maintaining a comfortable and safe working environment.
