Chief User Experience Designer

We are seeking a skilled UX/UI designer to fill a contract role. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing user experiences, creating wireframes and prototypes, and building design systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into user-centric designs.
- Create intuitive and visually appealing wireframes, prototypes, and designs using Figma.
- Develop scalable design systems for visual and functional consistency across products.
- Conduct thorough design reviews and apply usability best practices.
- Work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively and delivering on deadlines.
- Adapt designs based on user feedback, analytics, and business needs.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a UX/UI designer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs.
- Expertise in Figma and strong experience in design systems and component libraries.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, user flows, and responsive design.
- A portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed teams.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with usability testing and user research.
- Familiarity with handoff tools and developer collaboration.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 3 to 6 months.
- Reporting: Directly to the Head of Design.
