ATE Test Engineer

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled ATE test engineer to develop and implement manufacturing test flows and methodologies for ASIC/SoC products.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2-12 years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing test processes and systems for ICs.
  • Expertise in one of the ATE platforms like Teradyne ETS800 / ETS88 / ETS364 / , Advantest V93K, T2K is required.
  • The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional R&D teams to finalize manufacturing test requirements for each product phase.
  • This includes defining product DFT and test requirements Pre-PG, executing design-of-experiments, and executing qualification cycles for Si and package.
  • The candidate must have good understanding of IC design and semiconductor physics, as well as knowledge of software programs written in C, C++, C#.
  • The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems with minimal data points, and meet deadlines while working comfortably with Windows and Linux Operating systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Manufacturing Test Flows & Test Methodologies for ASIC/SoC to meet customer & quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to finalize the manufacturing test requirements for each of the test phases including the pass/fail criteria for a given product.
  • Drive the new product migration from R&D to High Volume Manufacturing Phase, support technical issues & co-ordination with cross functional teams.
  • Monitor product yield, test time and DPPM. Provide technical solutions for yield improvement, TTR and DPPM reduction.
  • Help team members in line with the changing dynamics of the product deliverables.
  • Effectively represent Product Engineering function in various technical and functional forums.
  • Work with teams in different time zones, if required.

Requirements:

  • 2-12 years of experience in Electronics and/or Semiconductors.
  • Hands on experience with Lab Equipment (Testers, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers).
  • Knowledge of IC Test Methodologies, System Testing and Communication Protocols such as USB, UART, PCIe, I2C, I2S, DDR etc.
  • Good understanding of software programs written in C, C++, C# and able to step through the code if required.
  • Able to work comfortably with Windows and Linux Operating systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems with minimal data points.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
