Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to join our team in Pune. As a key member of our big data practice, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement efficient solutions. You will also optimize and tune Spark jobs for performance and efficiency, troubleshoot and debug data processing issues in Spark applications, and ensure the reliability, availability, and security of data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Apache Spark framework and knowledge of distributed computing and big data processing. They should also be proficient in Scala programming language and have experience with software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
