About Designit

We are a global strategic design firm, part of the Wipro family. Our studio in Bangalore is part of the global Designit team of 800+ creative-strategists across 20 locations.

We're looking for a senior UX designer with research experience to help us improve the way we live, work, and do business. You will play a key role in projects by being responsible not only for designing outcomes but also participating in client conversations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing hands-on work in projects, both at early concept stages and during detailed end-to-end implementation;
  • Supporting business development, including shaping and presenting proposals to potential clients;
  • Mentoring, supporting, and inspiring other designers;
  • Sharing your knowledge on UX/UI methods, tools, and trends with your colleagues; and
  • Developing our digital design capabilities, pushing the boundaries of the discipline and defining our standards of quality.

You will work in close contact with adjacent disciplines: design research, service design, business design, and technology. Collaboration with other Designits, clients, business, and technology experts is crucial to deliver high-quality products and services.

Requirements
  • 5 & more years of relevant experience (UX) with increasing design creation and delivery responsibility, research experience, a diverse portfolio, top-notch team/collaboration skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and zero-error attitude;
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in design from a reputable institute;
  • A sharp executor, with an eye for detail and an interest in meticulously crafting digital experiences;
  • A problem solver with ideas that challenge the ordinary, together with the drive – and the guts – to bring them to life;
  • Experience in scoping, planning, and leading UX activities from initial requirements to concept, interaction design, and development;
  • Confidence translating flows and user journeys into builds – naturally building IA and UX thinking into your design process;
  • Experience in managing design-work as a project manager – timelines, deliverables, milestones, review schedules, governance, etc.;
  • Mastery of your toolbox: designing in Adobe Suite, making it move in After Effects, and prototyping in XD, Figma, In Vision, and Principle;
  • A deep understanding of dominant design systems, UI patterns, and UI technologies;
  • A strong facilitator and presenter, able to build client confidence and push to make change happen;
  • Resilience with a calm and relaxed personality;
  • A 'here to help' attitude, who believes that we're better together.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
