Role Overview

As an experienced English Content Developer, Editor & Proofreader, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and proofreading top-quality academic content. The ideal candidate should have experience working with India's top publishing houses and possess the expertise to create engaging, curriculum-aligned, and error-free content for the English subject across various classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop original English academic content for Classes 1–10 aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 guidelines.
  • Edit and proofread textbooks, workbooks, and digital content to ensure clarity, correctness, and high editorial quality.
  • Design creative, age-appropriate learning material, including stories, exercises, comprehension passages, and writing activities.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to integrate text and visuals while maintaining academic accuracy.
  • Develop test paper generators and assessment materials to support digital learning platforms.
  • Create supplementary resources such as practice questions, worksheets, and teacher reference materials.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time with high-quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience

Required qualifications include M.A. / B.Ed. / Ph.D. in English, with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in content development, editing, or proofreading of English educational materials.

Prior experience working with India's top publishing houses is highly desirable.

Strong command of English grammar, language style, and academic writing techniques is essential.

Deep understanding of CBSE/State Board curriculum requirements is required.

Ability to develop content for both print and digital platforms is necessary.
