Job Overview

The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of generic formulations. This key position requires strategic planning, effective coordination, and meticulous execution to meet market demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning & Supply Scheduling: Develop mid-to-long-term production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory norms, transit time, and manufacturing capacities.
  • Inventory & Capacity Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels (RM, PM, FG) to prevent stock-outs and obsolescence.
  • Demand Planning Interface: Collaborate with demand planning and commercial teams to align supply plans with market requirements.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate communication between production, QA/QC, regulatory, procurement, API planning, logistics, and commercial teams.
  • Supply Risk Management: Identify potential supply risks, delays, or constraints and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Master Data & Compliance: Ensure timely updates and accuracy of master data in ERP/SAP systems (BOM, lead times, MOQ, batch sizes etc).
  • Reporting & Analytics: Generate periodic reports on supply KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turnover, etc.
