Cloud Infrastructure Strategist

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our organization. This involves managing service delivery, practice building, and providing strategic advisory services to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shaping Solutions: Understand business requirements and create offerings that bring value to the requirement. This individual will be a self-starter who enjoys strategic problem-solving and guiding client requirements.
  • Solution Development: Ability to define the solution, resource plan, and implementation approach. Identify top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet company needs.
  • Process Execution: Execute internal processes related to ITIL Life Cycle Practices.
  • Project Delivery: Drive delivery of cloud implementation projects end-to-end from business case to deployment.
  • Technical Design: Apply non-functional requirements and technical knowledge in the cloud domain to drive design of a robust solution.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary conduit between our teams and clients during the discovery process.
  • Team Capability Building: Build the capability of the Cloud Practice and enable them to effectively manage and deliver.
  • Team Management: Manage a team and be responsible for their performance and career progression.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on Microsoft Azure/AWS.
  • Experience working within software development.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools or DevOps methodologies.
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
  • High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
