About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and advanced analytics projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Data Pipelines: You will design, develop, and optimize scalable and robust data pipelines to support business intelligence and advanced analytics projects.
  • ETL/ELT Expertise: You will implement, manage, and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using various tools to maintain reliable, high-quality data flow and accessibility.
  • Cloud Platform Deployment: You will deploy and manage scalable data solutions on AWS or Azure cloud platforms, leveraging cloud services for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Data Quality & Governance: You will ensure integration of data sources maintains high-quality, consistent, and accessible data; implement and follow data governance best practices.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship: You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective solutions; mentor junior team members when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Data Modeling Techniques: You should have strong expertise in data modeling techniques such as dimensional modeling (Kimball, Inmon).
  • Programming Languages: You should have advanced skills in Python programming and SQL querying for data manipulation and automation.
  • Cloud Platforms: You should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for scalable data deployments.
  • Generative AI Frameworks: You should have familiarity with LLM Mesh or similar Generative AI frameworks.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Big Data Technologies: Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake.
  • Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • MLOps Principles: Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools.

Education:

  • Quantitative Field: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
