Fashion Designer Job Opportunity

This role is open to a Fashion Designer who can create innovative western silhouettes, develop seasonal collections, and work with in-house teams to translate design concepts into samples.

  • We are seeking a skilled Fashion Designer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design & Development
  2. Create stunning western-inspired designs, including dresses, coord sets, tops, and fusion wear.
  3. Develop fashion-forward seasonal collections that align with brand aesthetics and global trends.
  4. Work on detailed illustrations, mood boards, and technical sketches using Photoshop & Corel Draw.
  5. Source and experiment with fabrics, trims, and embellishments suitable for both western and fusion styles.
  6. Sampling & Production
  7. Collaborate with the merchandising and production teams to bring design concepts to life.
  8. Ensure fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage meet quality and cost standards.
  9. Trend & Market Research
  10. Stay updated with global fashion trends and analyze competitor collections to contribute unique ideas.
  11. Brand Aesthetics
  12. Maintain a consistent brand identity while ensuring every design reflects elegance, comfort, and commercial appeal.
Required Skills & Tools:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw.
  • Fabric knowledge: cotton, rayon, muslin, chanderi, silk, blends & their drapes.
  • Design expertise: western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear.
  • Strong visualization, sketching & digital illustration skills.
  • Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and embroidery placement.
  • Ability to work under deadlines with creativity and precision.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in women's western or fusion fashion.
  • A portfolio of previous work is required.
