About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Specialist Solutions Architect to join our team at AWS India - Karnataka - D11. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address complex customer challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain deep domain-specific expertise in analytics and data processing technologies such as Spark, Hive, and Presto.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and provide technical guidance on how to leverage AWS services to solve their challenges.
  • Design and implement data architectures that meet the needs of our customers, including MPP database architectures.
  • Work closely with the sales organization to understand customer requirements and provide technical input on go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology solutions and participate in knowledge-sharing and mentorship programs to develop your skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of solutions architecture or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in data and analytics with hands-on experience with distributed data processing technologies such as Spark, Hive, and Presto.
  • Good understanding of MPP database architectures.
  • Strong customer-facing skills and good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • AWS expertise, particularly familiarity with the AWS analytics stack.
  • Understanding of application, server, and network security, particularly as they relate to data security in the Analytics space.
