Our EDG team is dedicated to enhancing consumer experience by implementing an enterprise device gateway solution that manages device health signal acquisition, centralizes consumer consent, facilitates efficient health signal distribution, and empowers UHC with connected insights across the health and wellness ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop high-quality, fault-tolerant code, primarily backend
  • Build scalable systems, libraries, frameworks, and create comprehensive test plans
  • Monitor production systems and provide on-call support for critical issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with JS libraries and frameworks, such as Angular, React, or other
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Scala, Java, or other compiled languages

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with web design principles and best practices
  • Experience using RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
  • Experience in design and development methodologies
  • Testing experience with Scala or Java
  • Database and caching experience, including SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB)
