Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Snowflake

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data models on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data models on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
  • Develop robust SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Implement and maintain data pipelines and integrations using JavaScript and SQL within Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, BI developers, and product teams.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data solutions.
  • Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of data issues in Snowflake.
  • Follow best practices in data modeling (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) and data architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 8-12 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake including performance tuning, data sharing, and advanced features.
  • Expertise in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical), including dimensional modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization, indexing).
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript for scripting within Snowflake (e.g., stored procedures, UDFs).
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data lake architecture.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
