As a seasoned Shopify App Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative apps that meet the evolving needs of clients. If you possess an in-depth understanding of modern web development and have a strong background in React, Remix (or React Router), Shopify Admin API, and Polaris, this opportunity is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable custom Shopify apps to cater to client requirements.
  2. Implement visually stunning front-end interfaces using React, Remix (or React Router), Polaris, and TailwindCSS to ensure seamless user experiences.
  3. Integrate Shopify Admin APIs, GraphQL APIs, and Webhooks to unlock the full potential of store data and app functionality.
  4. Develop reusable components and shared utilities for internal and external apps to promote code efficiency and consistency.
  5. Optimize app performance for speed, responsiveness, and edge performance to provide users with lightning-fast experiences.
  6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive feature planning and delivery.
  7. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure production-grade code reliability.

Required Skills:

  • React: Proven experience with functional components, hooks, and state management.
  • Remix or React Router: Proficiency in building complex routes, loaders, actions, and server rendering.
  • Shopify Admin API: In-depth understanding of REST and GraphQL endpoints, OAuth authentication, and webhook handling.
  • Polaris UI: Skilled in crafting pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible interfaces using Shopify's design system.
  • TailwindCSS: Advanced knowledge of utility-first styling and responsive design.
  • Node.js / TypeScript: Familiarity with backend logic, API routes, and type-safe coding.
  • Experience with App Bridge, JWT-based auth flows, and session management for Shopify apps.
  • Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers, Bun, or Vercel is a plus.
