About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Writer to join our Product Technical Enablement (PTE) team at Verint. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation and eLearning content to support our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze user needs to identify appropriate content deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Produce accurate, clear, and concise content following topic-based writing principles and PTE style guidelines.
  • Act as a project lead, meeting project deadlines and coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other product team members.
  • Write and review user interface text, and collaborate with key stakeholders on a range of content deliverables and outputs.
  • Regularly report project status, recognize potential problems, and promptly report issues to the Technical Writing Manager.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of content development processes and standards, recommending changes required to match or surpass industry standards.
  • Provide substantive editing for SMEs and other content developers, reviewing content for organization, logic, presentation, completeness, and consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience as a technical writer in a software company, working in an Agile environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, Instructional Design, Computer Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with Madcap Flare or another documentation authoring software, and GitHub or another source control system.
  • Ability to research a topic and translate the information into goal-oriented, user-friendly content, and grasp technical details and understand underlying technologies quickly.
  • High attention to detail and consistency, excellent communication skills to collaborate with SMEs, and excellent English written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a global team, self-motivated and proactive, with strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using JIRA/Confluence and SharePoint, and experience in API documentation, topic-based writing methodology, and developing videos or eLearning.
