Senior Valuation Analyst

As a Senior Valuation Analyst, you will play a key role in our valuation team, utilizing your expertise to provide high-quality services to clients.

  • Analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify potential risks.
  • Develop and apply financial models to estimate future cash flows and determine the fair value of businesses, assets, and securities.
  • Evaluate and challenge assumptions related to financial projections, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the client's needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop discount rates (WACC, IRR, WARA, etc.) and conduct financial statement analysis.
  • Perform market research and develop industry growth estimates to inform valuation opinions.
  • Review and refine valuation models to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an advanced degree and/or certifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA would be highly beneficial.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies, including traditional valuation methods such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and transactional approach.
  • Experience in valuing contingent consideration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions, and other transactions.
  • Strong technical skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and presentation.
  • Proficiency in using financial databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other high-level tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present complex information to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
