Job Title: Senior Data Architecture Specialist.

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to lead our data strategy, design, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles, Snowflake, and Matillion.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data architectures, leveraging Snowflake and Matillion for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Key responsibilities include defining and maintaining data modeling standards, data flows, and architecture best practices (dimensional, normalized, star/snowflake schemas).
  • The Data Architect will also lead the evaluation and adoption of tools in the modern data stack, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders is essential to define requirements and create robust data pipelines.
  • The Data Architect will ensure data security, access controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
  • Ongoing optimization of Snowflake performance via clustering, caching, query tuning, and cost management is crucial.
  • The Data Architect will oversee data integration from APIs, databases, flat files, and third-party platforms.
  • Data quality and metadata management practices must be established.
  • The role requires subject matter expertise in Matillion orchestration, reusable job frameworks, and performance optimization.
