Job Title: Electronic Systems Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design and development of electronic systems in complex products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met, and that products meet performance and safety criteria.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing system requirements and electrical schematics to define signal names and interfaces;
  • Collaborating with architects to review TCMS system requirements and develop software solutions;
  • Developing software solutions for train control functions following safety protocols and regulatory standards;
  • Reviewing and validating source code to ensure functional safety and compliance with industry standards;
  • Participating in lab and train testing to validate defined functions and ensuring the software meets safety and performance criteria;
  • Witnessing and validating test results to confirm the system meets both functional and safety requirements;
  • Investigating and resolving moderately complex issues within train control systems;
  • Using diagnostic and troubleshooting tools to maintain system performance throughout the product lifecycle;
  • Working with cross-functional teams to align system requirements and ensure successful product development;
  • Effectively communicating technical information to various stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related STEM field is required;
  • A post-graduate (Masters) degree may be required for select roles;
  • Licensing and compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations may be required.
