Fund Accounting Associate

About the Role
Apollo Global Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Associate to join our team. As a Fund Accounting Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the Fund Controller in the preparation of accurate and timely financial information for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, working closely with the investment and portfolio management team, valuation, pricing, operations, tax, and marketing departments.
- Maintain and review full accounting records on Apollo's system to reconcile back to administrator records, ensuring the accuracy of Fund NAV and Investor level NAV.
- Prepare and review Fund's Financial Statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS.
- Prepare and maintain Investor Allocations, calculate and invoice management fees and carried interest, and calculate monthly fund performance to meet GIPS requirements.
- Assist in the quarterly valuation process, fund budgeting, and expense analysis, as well as oversee external auditors and admin with regards to statutory fund audits.
- Review, allocate, and approve invoices and expenses, working closely with Apollo colleagues across New York, India, and London, and liaising with current and prospective Fund Investors.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in fund finance or fund administration, with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or strong accounting academics, with experience working with complex financial products such as MBS, CDS, Bank Loans, etc.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines, with a forward-thinking and creative approach to problem-solving.
