Identity Engineer Position

This role is centered around the implementation and management of Identity solutions.

  • Design, implement, and maintain SailPoint configurations to provide secure identity services:
  1. Provisioning: create and manage user identities within SailPoint systems.
  2. Lifecycle automation (Joiner-Mover-Leaver): automate user account creation, modification, and deletion processes.
  3. Access certifications: regularly review and validate access permissions for users.
  4. Self-service capabilities: empower users with tools to manage their own identity-related tasks.
  • Develop and automate end-to-end Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using popular tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Ant:
  1. Deploy SailPoint configurations, connectors, workflows, and rules across development, testing, and production environments.
  2. Implement automated testing and validation strategies to ensure system integrity.
  • Build custom connectors/integrations to enterprise systems, APIs, and identity protocols:
  1. Integrate with Active Directory, LDAP, cloud services, and other relevant platforms.
  2. Implement SAML, OAuth, and other security protocols as required.
  • Author secure, maintainable code using Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, or Shell scripting:
  1. Write efficient and readable code for rule, workflow, and report logic.
  2. Ensure code adheres to best practices and industry standards.
  • Monitor and support SailPoint environments with Tier 2/3 incident response, performance tuning, and proactive alerting:
  1. Provide timely assistance in resolving technical issues and optimizing system performance.
  2. Implement monitoring tools and procedures to ensure optimal system functioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, deliver secure IAM capabilities, and ensure governance/compliance alignment:
  1. Work closely with Cyber, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to align IAM initiatives with organizational goals.
  2. Communicate effectively to ensure mutual understanding of project objectives and timelines.
