Job Overview

As a Backend Developer with expertise in Java and Python, you will design and implement scalable workflows using AWS Step Functions to orchestrate microservices and automate processes. Your role will involve developing and maintaining Python-based Lambda functions and integrating them into Step Functions.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable workflows using AWS Step Functions
  • Develop and maintain Python-based Lambda functions
  • Integrate Lambda functions into Step Functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define workflow requirements and optimize performance
  • Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot Step Functions workflows and related AWS services
  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of serverless applications

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and other AWS services
  • Strong understanding of state machines and distributed systems
  • Familiarity with JSON-based Amazon States Language (ASL) for Step Functions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of cloud security and cost optimization strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate)
  • Experience with Boto3 (AWS SDK for Python)
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and serverless frameworks
