Job Description

We seek a strategic Lead Generative AI Engineer for our freelance talent network.

This role requires established independent consultants comfortable with short-notice engagements and open to fractional or project-based work.

  • Solution Leadership: Engage directly with clients to understand business challenges and lead ideation and design of innovative Generative AI solutions.
  • Technical Architecture: Translate client needs into actionable solution concepts, defining architecture, data strategy, model selection, and tooling required for success.
  • Project Ownership: Lead end-to-end delivery of GenAI solutions, ensuring technical quality, alignment with business goals, and timely execution of project milestones.
  • Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering best practices and ensuring project accountability.
  • Hands-On Contribution: While leading the project, remain hands-on with tools, models, and code to prototype, build, and troubleshoot complex components.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as key technical point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing clear progress updates, and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to co-develop tailored proposals, Statements of Work, and implementation roadmaps.
