Chemistry Specialist Role Overview

Our organization requires a professional with advanced knowledge in chemistry to fine-tune large language models. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and English comprehension skills.

  • A foundation in Chemistry comparable to engineering entrance exams is required, as well as graduate or PhD-level programs.
  • The ability to break down complex chemistry problems into simple clear explanations and work efficiently is crucial.
  • Projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to be a better analyst, future-proofing your career in an AI-first world.

Day-to-day tasks involve solving advanced chemistry problems, creating detailed explanations, and working with a mix of chemistry content combining text with images, chemical equations, diagrams, and visual representations.

  • Analyze and explain steps in complex organic reaction mechanisms providing textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  • Solve problems involving chemical equilibrium accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams explaining the process using text and visual aids.
  • Address challenging problems involving stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry typical of Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level questions utilizing textual, visual, and diagrammatic explanations.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Candidates pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields are eligible.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, ability to provide constructive feedback and annotations, creative thinking, excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze and solve complex chemistry problems with a structured approach.
  • Ability to explain chemistry concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations when needed.
