About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Ulpers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend services using Node.js and AWS technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop scalable backend architecture to ensure efficient performance and reliability of web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to plan and delegate tasks efficiently among backend team members.
  • Support the Product Owner in identifying and analyzing user requirements to ensure development aligns with user expectations and project scope.
  • Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using Node.js and AWS technologies.
  • Monitor and control technical debt to ensure it does not compromise the scalability or performance of the application.
Requirements
  • At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in Node.js, AWS, and MongoDB.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services such as ECR, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, etc.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of building secure applications and experience with CI/CD tooling and procedures.
  • Great communication skills and ability to work in a remote, collaborative environment.
