Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of experience in designing and implementing high-quality, secure, and scalable data pipelines and systems.

This is a remote-first opportunity with a strong preference for candidates within Tamil Nadu for occasional in-person collaboration sessions.

Mandatory Skills:

  • PowerBI: Must have extensive experience with PowerBI, including report development and data visualization.
  • Snowflake: Must have expertise in Snowflake, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.
  • Python: Must be proficient in Python programming language and its applications in data engineering.
  • Complex SQL Query Writing: Must have advanced knowledge of complex SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, Build, and Maintain Scalable Data Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, and Python.
  • Write and Optimise Complex SQL Queries: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformations, analytics, and reporting.
  • Develop and Maintain Complex Power BI Reports: Develop and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards by integrating Snowflake and other data sources.
  • Integrate and Transform Structured, Semi-structured, and Unstructured Data: Integrate and transform structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data for reporting and analytics.
  • Implement End-to-end Data Flows: Implement end-to-end data flows with minimal supervision, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners: Collaborate with product owners to validate requirements, define data logic, and ensure data completeness and correctness.
