Mainframe Developer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mainframe architecture and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement efficient mainframe solutions using COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, and REXX programming languages.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of mainframe systems by implementing access control mechanisms using RACF.
  • Develop and maintain complex JCL scripts for job processing and optimization.
  • Analyze system performance issues and provide recommendations for improvement using SDSF and z/OS utilities.
  • Create detailed technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Requirements:
  • Mainframe architecture and operations: Understanding of z/OS, ISPF, TSO, and other related technologies.
  • Programming skills: Proficiency in COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, REXX, and JCL.
  • Database management: Experience with DB2 and IMS databases.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
