- Implement software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
- Develop and maintain scripts or applications to perform tasks
- Monitor system performance and capacity planning to identify areas for improvement
- Analyze and resolve issues related to system performance and capacity planning
- 6+ years of experience in Linux administration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with MySQL or related databases
- Experience with server hardware and virtualization technologies
- Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
- Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP
- Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, LPIC) will be considered an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
