Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Execution Coordinator to join our team at Brambles. In this role, you will be responsible for executing all logistics activities for a given perimeter, ensuring a constant and efficient supply of equipment to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage order processing using TMS software and SAP.
  • Ensure on-time performance to customers and track transport quality.
  • Provide logistics support for CHEP and external managed service customers.
  • Manage dedicated fleets and routes.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, project, and timeliness targets.
  • Coordinate with local customers and third-party providers to deliver CHEP orders.
  • Optimize daily transport planning and execution for customers and stakeholders.
  • Meet on-time delivery requirements and follow up on discrepancies with suppliers and customer service.
  • Maintain proper and accurate pre-shipment and post-shipment administration.
  • Track and trace logistics transportation activities, including relocations, issues, collections, customs, and cross-border trips.
  • Verify proof of delivery and handle over, short, and damaged shipment issues.
  • Evaluate, record, and respond to additional/special service requests.
  • Work with transportation providers and freight payment teams to ensure proper accessorial costs and flows.
  • Handle damage and loss claims.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues.
  • Respond to customer issues and complaints from sales and asset management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  • Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
  • Ensure logistics operations comply with laws, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Track plans to reduce carbon emissions associated with storage or transport activities.
  • Participate in improvement projects to drive supply chain efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Logistics execution expertise.
  • Supply chain background an advantage.
  • Experience in an office environment with frequent customer and provider contacts.
  • Comfortable managing urgent requests.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP and Transport Management system expertise.
  • Able to relate to customers, transporters, team members, and other CHEP departments.
  • In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry.
  • Quantitative ability.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

Work Experience:

1-3 years of experience in a related field.
