The Role:

Commercial Data team in Advertising develops leading property and market data insights to power Real Commercial products.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver complex initiatives under product management pipeline using agile methods and frameworks working with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, serving as subject matter expert in data engineering and related technologies.
  • Contribute to design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions, considering long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Establish effective ways of working within and across teams.
  • Embrace continuous learning, leveraging latest development trends to solve complex challenges.
Requirements:
  • An experienced developer (8-13 years' experience), who thrives in collaborative environment, enjoys being hands-on tackling technical challenges and leading teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Proven people leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Well-versed in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience with Data modeling, Data pipelines, Data consumption, Data analysis, and documentation.
  • Has led development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or iterative releasing.
  • Demonstrates commitment to code quality and keen eye for detail.
  • Possesses communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Big Query, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Python libraries (Pandas, Requests, JSON), Docker, Kafka, Linux shell scripting, Git/GitHub, AWS (S3, Lambda, IaC), Airflow, Interacting with REST APIs.
