The Role Objectives:

The position objective is key to the improvement of quality and effectiveness of software development projects. The focus is on continuous expansion of automated testing capabilities and continuous deployment frameworks for both embedded and application software development.

• Test Automation Development: Develop automation tests for Embedded and PC Application software with real-time control systems in safety-critical control equipment.
• Involvement Throughout the Development Process: Involve throughout the development process, right from requirement gathering to test case execution.
• Reducing Manual Testing Time: Reduce the manual testing time by automating the test suits and improving the productivity and quality of product lines.
• Maintain and Extend Automated Test Framework: Maintain and extend the existing automated test framework whenever there is a change requests.
• Identifying and Automating Areas of Functionalities: Identify and automate the appropriate areas of functionalities in product.
• Closely Work with Validation Team: Closely work with validation team to understand the scope of automation for newly developed features/change requests to existing features.

Requirements:

4-7 years of experience in Automation and/or manual testing. Minimum 2 Years of working experience in Automation. Experience in Embedded System or Device Testing, programming/scripting languages like Python/shell scripts, automation tools like Azure/JIRA/Jenkins/Bamboo/Test complete, BDD languages like Cucumber/Gherkin, CI/CD process, test case design and development, version control tools like Bit bucket/GIT, understanding of hardware and interfaces like RS232/USB/Ethernet.

• Demonstrate Effective Automated Test Cases Design: Demonstrate effective automated test cases design, test cases development, report generation.
