SAP Finance Control Consultant Role Overview

About the Position
  • Senior-level professionals require at least 10 years of experience in FICO, focusing on detailed design, build, testing, and deployment of SAP change requests and projects.
  • The ideal candidate possesses excellent collaboration and presentation skills, taking ownership of sub-projects and leading international teams of consultants and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Deliver high-quality results by working closely with release managers and project managers to ensure agreed quality and timelines.
  2. Team Leadership: Conduct workshops, lead international teams, coordinate with other teams for successful delivery of integrated solutions, and develop functional and technical documentation.
  3. Analysis and Design: Analyze complicated processes impacting MAP, such as purchase returns, period-end activities, and GR/IR clearing, and propose solutions based on standard procedures.
  4. SAP Integration: Have a good understanding of SAP integration technologies like API, EDI, and integration suites.
  5. Banking and Cash Management: Expertise in bank application functionalities, including DMEE and bank reconciliation, with knowledge of cash concentration being a significant advantage.
  6. Controlling Module: Deep understanding of the Controlling module, structure, objects, planning, and actual process to identify best-matched controlling objects.
  7. Financial Reporting: Profit center structure and rules definition along with splitting modules to prepare financial statutory reports from SAP.
Requirements
  • Active participation in the account payable process project to shape the company's future direction.
  • Analysis, design, and implementation of SAP solutions for relevant business processes.
  • Taking ownership of the implementation process, from gathering requirements to production release.
  • Creation of documentation and presentations to showcase the business value of proposed solutions.
  • Collaboration with other IT product teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Preparation of functional concepts for SAP integration with other systems.
  • Support of business operations by resolving incidents and fixing bugs and malfunctions in SAP.
