Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable within the U.S. market.
This role involves managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and U.S. regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Invoicing and Payments: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to company policies.
- Payment Reconciliation: Manage and process payments to vendors, ensuring they are done according to terms and schedules, and reconciling payments with vendor statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable ledger to the general ledger, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Vendor Communication: Communicate regularly with vendors to resolve payment inquiries, disputes, and other account-related issues.
- Expense Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Tax Compliance: Maintain accurate records for sales tax and 1099 reporting, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax laws.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounts payable or related finance role, with a strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
- Experience with accounting software - QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations (1099, sales tax, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience in Generating Ageing reports and MIS reports.
