Hardware Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for driving the hardware architecture and component selection/decision for next-generation automotive audio systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and recommend next-generation semiconductor solutions for automotive audio systems, ensuring high-quality sound and seamless integration with vehicle technology.
  • Collaborate closely with vehicle Architecture/system Design, safety engineer & Buyer/purchasing to ensure chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
  • Technical expertise in recommending electronic audio components, including Audio amplifiers, Microphone interface/Audio ADC, Audio DSP, Audio power circuitry/PMIC, Speaker interface, Digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc)
  • Familiarity with relevant automotive safety and quality standards, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100
  • Experience with acoustic measurement instruments and audio data acquisition, analysis systems
Requirements:
  • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural role
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment system, Audio system, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems and ECU design, development, and testing

The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork spirit, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with global teams spread across different regions and time zones.
